Fund Controller

Job Description

• Maintain (or oversee third-party) bookkeeping of underlying investments as required 
• Provide audit and tax support as needed 
• Coordinate ongoing investment fundings, deal closings, and asset-level expense payments 
• Conduct (or oversee third-party) reporting to various third-party financing parties 
• Track (or oversee third-party tracking of) underlying investment KPIs and cash movement  
• Taking on ad hoc projects that further the growth and development of the overall business 

Qualifications

• 4-10 years accounting experience at a leading accounting firm or investment firm 
• Specific renewable energy asset management and/or operations experience a plus 
• Exposure to tax accounting a plus – especially renewable energy tax equity structures 
• Excellent computer skills, specifically in MS Excel 
• Excellent work ethic with a demonstrated record of achievement 
• Outstanding attention to detail, analytical ability, and organization skills 
• Ownership mentality 
• Must be highly motivated, internally driven, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with a fairly flat hierarchy and several “dotted line” reporting lines designed to maximize efficiency and collaboration across the firm
